Basement waterproofing & leak investigation

I am extremely satisfied with Patrick and his crew. I had a bad leaking problem in my basement and from our first call to when the job was done it has been a smooth journey.
Patrick came after a couple of days to check the magnitude of the job, we discussed the estimate and agreed to it. After a week his crew came early in the morning and by 1400 the job was done. It rained a lot the same evening and not a drop of water was getting through the basement.
I dealt with quite a lot of trade folks for different jobs, and I only have 2 numbers saved in my contacts. Patrick is one of them. I can reference Patrick to anyone who needs Masonry services.

Patrick and his guys were fantastic! We had a lot of water coming into our finished basement. Not enough for a pump or anything elaborate, but enough to be a problem and an annoyance. Patrick was honest right from the start, giving me an education on why it could be happening. What was needed and what wasn't. His crew were super nice guys that had no problem answering an questions I had. They repointed the exterior of the basement where the water was coming in and repointed around our bulkhead and laid down some concrete around the bulkhead. They also dug a couple trenches to guide the water away from the house. It all came out great and we haven't had any issues even with all the rain we've gotten since the work was done. Our basement used to have an inch of water on the floor after the spring thaw and after every heavy rain.
Then Patrick and the MRW Masonry Restoration & Waterproofing crew came.
Now the basement is dry.
They booked us for February, and that's when they came. Good.
The MRW team assessed our flooded basement, quickly had a plan, and quickly executed it. Good.
They dedicated four days to our basement. They showed up every day, and worked long hard hours. GOod.
Throughout, they were cheerful.
We know they have many different masonry skills. But we would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who had a wet basement.

We needed to repoint a section of our Charlestown condo, and repair 1 small section near our roof, and 2 areas around 2 windows. After doing great work on our french drains, we called Patrick and he gave us a fair quote compared to other masonry companies we spoke with. Him and his guys came out and got the work done in under a week, and did a stellar job. We used to have severe leaks coming in from one of the windows after any big rain storm. Last Thursday, May 30th 2024, there were sustained torrential downpours and not a drop of water got in. Thank you Patrick & MRW team!

We contacted MRW due to water pooling in our older field stone basement during rainstorms. Patrick promptly conducted a consultation and suggested a two-part solution involving exterior leveling of the patio pavers to prevent water entry and interior installation of a basement floor drain. Opting for the exterior approach first, per Patrick's recommendation, the work was completed well ahead of schedule by his team. Their strong communication and precise execution resolved the issue, we haven’t had water pool in our basement since. We will definitely reach out to Patrick for future basement needs.

Solid and trustworthy masonry company. They helped repair my stone foundation basement as I was having a spot that was leaking water after rain storms. Patrick gave me options on how he can fix the issue depending on my budget. I chose the more long term fix by having them repair the outside and inside wall of the foundation. Their prices are very reasonable but you do have to wait since he is busy with other customers but will try his best to fit you in. He is worth it.

We had a crack in our foundation and serious leaking in our basement. MRW came out very quickly after contacting them, surveyed the area and gave us a very fair estimate. The work was impeccable and the contractors very professional. We highly recommend them, and would have them back again without hesitation.

Patrick is the man! We have hired him for two jobs now to help waterproof our basement. The first project involved patching the entire inside wall and re-pointing outside brick. The second involved tearing up part of our patio and patching the basement wall from the outside. Patrick and his team were punctual and professional. Patrick and his crew did a great job replacing my old patio and putting down a new concrete patio. It was carefully poured and sloped for full draining. I couldn't ask for anything more - perfect.
